Delete Your VoicePin Account
We're sorry to see you go. This page provides information on how to permanently delete your VoicePin account and all associated data.
⚠️ Warning: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. All your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.
What Gets Deleted
When you delete your VoicePin account, the following data will be permanently removed:
- Account Information: Your username, email address, and password
- Audio Content: All voice pins you created
- Profile Data: Profile picture, bio, and personal information
- Social Data: Your likes, comments, followers, and following lists
- Location History: All GPS trigger data and location history
- Notifications: All notification history
Method 1: Delete In-App (Recommended)
If you can access the VoicePin app:
- Open the VoicePin app on your mobile device
- Go to Profile tab
- Tap the Settings icon (gear icon in top right)
- Scroll down and tap "Delete Account"
- Read the warning and confirm deletion
- Your account will be permanently deleted within 30 days
Method 2: Request Deletion via Email
If you cannot access the app or prefer to request deletion via email:

Please include the following information:
- Subject: "Account Deletion Request"
- Your VoicePin username
- Your registered email address
- Reason for deletion (optional)
We will process your request and send a confirmation email within 5 business days. Your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days of confirmation.
Data Deletion Timeline
After you delete your account or we receive your deletion request:
- Immediate: Your account is deactivated and no longer accessible
- Within 24 hours: Your profile and pins are removed from public view
- Within 30 days: All data is permanently deleted from our servers
Note: Some data may remain in backup systems for up to 90 days, after which it will be permanently purged.
What Happens to Your Content
After deletion:
- Your audio pins will no longer be discoverable or playable
- Comments you left on others' pins will be attributed to "Deleted User"
- Your pins may briefly remain in other users' app cache but will not be playable
- All audio files will be permanently deleted from our storage servers
Before You Delete
Before permanently deleting your account, please consider:
- Export Your Data: Email support@bitejee.app to request a copy of your data before deletion
- Alternative: You can temporarily disable GPS Auto-Trigger or delete specific pins instead of your entire account
- Deletion is Permanent: Once deleted, you cannot recover your account, username, or any content
Privacy & Data Rights
This deletion process complies with:
- GDPR (European Union): Right to erasure (Article 17)
- CCPA (California): Right to deletion
- Google Play Store policies for user data deletion
- Apple App Store account deletion requirements
